Our Sustainability Statement
Fluid Form Concrete Design is committed to a low environmental footprint throughout operations.
We keep our raw material impact low through thoughtful, local purchasing and by using 20% recycled content.
We carefully select reusable form materials. This way we keep 80% of would be forms out of the landfill.
We use 4-step filtered water for washing and polishing and reuse it over and over.
We use (and reuse) recycled metal, wood, paper and plastic.
We carefully measure and mix only the material we need to minimize leftover concrete. Leftover mix is put to use making signature pavers.
We lower our electricity use through LED and fluorescent lights, smart use of heat, and the use of efficient 3 phase large tools.
We use water-based, low VOC sealers.
As a result of these practices our concrete product can qualify for LEED credits for your project. We can assist you in required information to take advantage of this benefit.
Fluid Form Concrete Design is committed to lowering our environmental impacts further in the years to come. We are currently under an internal review and will be undergoing an external review in 2022 to help us reach our goals and to develop an environmental best practices report for our trade. We are a proud member of the WNC green building council.
